Senior Information Designer for Custom System Diagrams

About the job Pedestal AI is seeking an experienced Information Designer to create two custom, high-fidelity system diagrams for a technical sales deck. We are moving away from "clip-art" and mascots toward a clean, sophisticated, "Stripe-esque" visual language. This is a high-impact, one-off project for a designer who can translate complex data logic into a "Boardroom-ready" visual story. What you’ll do Diagram 1 (The Governance Loop): Visualize a three-stage technical workflow: Codify (logic/code) -> Execute (processing) -> Validate (auditable results). This needs to look like a cohesive, layered system. Diagram 2 (The Mapping Engine): Illustrate the ingestion of fragmented data (Snowflake, Databricks, APIs) into a structured, nodal "Context Map." System Logic: Collaborate to ensure the "plumbing" of the diagram actually makes sense. We aren't looking for decorators; we’re looking for someone who understands how data moves. What we're looking for Technical Fluency: You should be comfortable looking at a messy technical sketch and turning it into a polished "Hero" graphic. Visual Consistency: Consistent line weights, a restricted professional palette, and an "Enterprise SaaS" aesthetic. Human-Made: No AI-generated "hallucinations." Every line and node must have a purpose.
