I'm a founder and content creator looking for someone to sit with me while I make things. Not a ghostwriter. Not a coach. Not a strategist. Not a therapist. A creative partner who can help me turn raw thinking into published content in real time. This is a creative production role, not a coaching or therapeutic engagement. I'm not looking for someone to help me process — I'm looking for someone to help me produce. About the work I create content at the intersection of mental health, identity, and lived experience. The topics are personal and sometimes vulnerable — therapy, ADHD, brain stimulation, creative paralysis, what it actually looks like to rebuild from the inside out. I'm strongest when I'm speaking, so sessions often involve me talking through ideas while you listen, ask questions, and help shape raw thinking into something publishable. Like a lot of creative people, I've learned that I get stuck around creative output when I'm working alone. There's a long tradition of this — writers who worked best in cafés or with trusted editors in the room, musicians who needed a producer to draw the performance out, founders who think best when they're talking to someone. I'm that kind of creator. That's what this role is: being the other person in the room. I've tested this. I ran trial sessions with a previous creative partner and the model works. In our best sessions, I'd talk through an idea, she'd ask clarifying questions, she'd draft and shape on a shared doc in real time, and we'd walk out with a near-finished post. The goal for every session is simple: leave with something publishable. Not perfect — published. What the sessions look like 2–3 sessions per week, 90 minutes to 2 hours each, in-person, at consistent times Arrival (5–10 min): Brief check-in. I may do a short grounding practice. Working (70–100 min): I talk through ideas. You ask questions to draw them out. You draft and shape on a shared doc in real time while we're still talking. We refine together. The goal is to leave with a publishable draft. Closing (5–10 min): What did we make, what needs a final pass, what's the next post, when do we meet again. What I need from you Calm, grounded presence. My nervous system reads the room. If you're rushed or anxious, I shut down. If you're steady and warm, I create. Real-time editorial instinct. I think non-linearly. I'll jump between ideas, loop back, go on tangents. You need to track it all, hear the signal in the noise, and say "that's the line — let's write that down." Comfort with silence. I will go quiet mid-thought. I need you to sit with that, not fill it. Throughput orientation. If I'm spiraling into exploration that isn't becoming a post, gently redirect: "This is great — let's capture it. What's the headline?" The goal is published pieces, not perfect ideas. Reliability. Same days, same times. Consistency is the foundation. You're probably a great fit if You make things yourself — writing, performance, music, film, design, anything creative You've edited or shaped someone else's voice before — ghostwriting, producing, interviewing, script editing People describe you as calming, grounding, or easy to be around You understand creative resistance from personal experience You can type fast on a shared doc while someone is still talking and not lose the thread Long silences don't make you anxious You're curious about mental health and vulnerability as subject matter You care more about getting something out into the world than getting it perfect This kind of consistent, part-time creative work fits well alongside your own projects This probably isn't for you if You're a coach, therapist, or somatic practitioner looking for a client — this is a creative production role, not a healing engagement Your instinct when someone is stuck is to push harder or offer solutions You're primarily interested in content strategy, analytics, or growth You default to "let's come back to that later" instead of capturing ideas in the moment You lean heavily on AI-generated writing (I can spot the M-dashes) Silence makes you uncomfortable Your schedule is unpredictable Your rate is above $65/hour Details Rate: $50–$65/hour depending on experience Commitment: 2–3 sessions/week, 90 min–2 hours each. Initial 1-month trial, then ongoing. Location: In-person required. San Francisco. Start: As soon as possible To apply Send me a short note (a few sentences is fine) about why this resonates with you, what you create, and what your availability looks like. No resume needed — I care more about who you are than what's on your CV.
