We produce sponsored and branded video content for major education brands — think dedicated review-style videos, brand integrations, and affiliate-forward content published on YouTube. We're looking for a long-term editing partner to own post-production on an ongoing basis. This isn't a one-off gig — we want someone who grows with us. What you'll be editing Sponsored review and comparison videos, 3–5 minutes long, featuring an on-camera presenter, B-roll, screen recordings, graphics, and music. Content is brand-forward but creator-native — it needs to feel like organic YouTube, not a TV commercial. What the role includes Edit and deliver around 8-10 videos per month Create thumbnails for every video Extract and format short-form clips for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels Add captions, text overlays, and end screens Upload to YouTube with titles, descriptions, and tags provided What we're looking for A strong portfolio of on-camera presenter content — review, comparison, or educational format. Faceless or voiceover-only channels aren't the right fit for what we make. We want to see that you've edited for real channels consistently over a few months, not one-off projects. Beyond technical skills, we're looking for someone who thinks about retention — who understands that a great edit isn't just clean cuts and nice graphics, it's keeping someone watching through minute 6 of a product comparison. If you describe your work as "storytelling" or "retention editing," we probably want to talk. Technical requirements Adobe Premiere Pro CapCut or Opus Clip for short-form extraction Reliable async communicator, English fluent, US delivery schedule (Mon–Fri) Nice to have experience, basic YouTube SEO knowledge, familiarity with affiliate or sponsored content How we hire We keep it simple and respectful of your time. If your portfolio looks right, we'll start with a short paid test — a 60-second hook cut from raw footage we provide, flat fee of $50. Finalists will be invited to edit a full short-form video (3–5 min target) for $100–150. We'll give you raw footage, a brief, and a reference video — then simply ask you to make it as engaging as possible for a YouTube audience. No lengthy onboarding, no hoops. To apply Share your portfolio and 2–3 YouTube channels where your on-camera presenter editing work is live, plus your monthly retainer rate. We're looking for an ongoing partner in the $1,500–1,750/month range, depending on experience.
