Video Editor – Social Media Ads (Retainer | Pet / DTC) Barkle is a fast-growing dog dental care brand on a mission to give every pup a healthier, happier smile — without the toothbrush struggle. We're looking for a skilled video editor to join us on a monthly retainer to help scale our paid social presence on Meta and TikTok. The Role: This is an ongoing retainer position producing 20–40 short-form ad edits per month (5–10 videos/week). You'll be working with UGC footage from real dog owners and editing it into high-converting ads for Facebook and Instagram. Retainer Rate: $1,500–$2,000/month based on experience and weekly volume. What you'll be doing: Edit raw footage of real dogs and their owners into scroll-stopping ads (30–90 sec) Cut, caption, and enhance testimonial-style content that builds trust and drives purchases Add additional content, as well as text overlays, hooks, transitions, and sound design optimized for Facebook and Instagram Produce multiple ad variations per creative for A/B testing Collaborate closely with our team to iterate quickly on what's working You're a great fit if you: Have a portfolio of short-form DTC video ads — pet, health, or CPG brands preferred Are proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar editing tools Know how to make the first 3 seconds irresistible Can consistently deliver 5–10 edited videos per week without sacrificing quality Are reliable, fast, and responsive to feedback Bonus points for: Experience editing pet brand content Motion graphics or After Effects skills Familiarity with Meta Ads creative best practices About Barkle: We make clinically tested, no-brush dental gel for dogs — trusted by thousands of pet owners nationwide.
