Video Editor — Remote (Worldwide) Company: Nebula Compensation: $2,500/month USD Location: Remote — Worldwide Timezone Preference: Overlap with US Pacific Time (UTC-8/UTC-7) preferred but not required Contract Type: Ongoing monthly retainer (long-term) Start Date: ASAP About Nebula Nebula is building the next generation of AI-powered tools for developers and creators. We're growing fast and need a talented video editor to join our content team full-time. You'll be editing YouTube videos, product demos, social content, and occasional motion graphics — working directly with our creative lead on a daily basis. What You'll Do Edit long-form YouTube videos (10-25 min): tutorials, product walkthroughs, explainers Edit short-form clips for X/Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram Reels Add motion graphics, lower thirds, transitions, and text animations Color correct and audio mix all content Source and sync B-roll, screen recordings, and stock footage Manage and organize a media library (Google Drive / ) Turn around edits within 24-48 hours with revisions same-day Collaborate async via Slack and Loom, with daily syncs on video calls Requirements 2+ years of professional video editing experience Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a big plus) Can use Screenstudio to edit product videos Strong understanding of YouTube pacing, retention hooks, and storytelling Experience editing tech/SaaS/AI content preferred (not required) Fluent English (written — verbal is a plus but not required) Reliable internet (50+ Mbps) and a capable editing machine Self-motivated, responsive on Slack, and comfortable with fast iteration Nice to Have After Effects or Motion for animated graphics DaVinci Resolve experience Thumbnail design skills (Photoshop/Figma) Experience with screen recording workflows (OBS, Loom, ScreenFlow) Familiarity with AI/developer tools space Overlap with US Pacific Time hours (strong plus) How to Apply Please include in your proposal: Your portfolio or reel — 3-5 examples of your best work (YouTube links preferred) A short Loom video (2 min max) — introduce yourself, walk us through your favorite edit and what you did Your timezone and typical working hours Your availability — when can you start?
