Looking for an independent PR professional based in Malaysia. I'm launching a business leadership book — The Simplicity Trap (Notion Press) — in April 2026 and need someone to own the Malaysia media and events push. What's involved: → Media outreach to The Edge, BFM 89.9, StarBiz, Astro AWANI, NST, and business podcasts → Coordinating 4–6 events: flagship KL launch, university lectures, CEO roundtable, industry talks (MIM, LIAM) → Review copy distribution through ~25 journalists and influencers → Bookstore coordination (Kinokuniya, MPH, BookXcess) What I'm looking for: → Based in/around KL with existing Malaysian business media relationships → Experience with book launches or thought leadership PR → Comfortable working independently on a project basis → Warm network, not cold pitches About me: Over a decade in Malaysia's C-suite — Group CEO of Tune Protect Group, CEO of AXA AFFIN Life Insurance — now co-founding SabaiHealth, an AI health assistant for Southeast Asia. The book draws on 20+ years of leadership across Asia and the Middle East.
