About Us We are a performance marketing agency specialising in Google Ads and paid media for premium UK hospitality and B2B clients. Our portfolio includes independent restaurant groups, hospitality-led workspace brands, and wellness operators - businesses where brand quality matters as much as commercial performance. We are founder-led, lean by design, and deeply embedded in the hospitality sector. We do not work with everyone. We partner with operators who are serious about growth and want a team that understands their world. This is a new service line for us, and we are building it with the right person from the ground up. The Opportunity We have a client requiring SEO and AEO services as part of a broader performance marketing engagement. They operate in the premium hospitality sector. We are looking for a contractor SEO & AEO specialist to deliver this work under our agency brand. This role will represent the foundation of our SEO offering, with the opportunity to expand into a broader remit across additional clients as the service line grows. If the engagement goes well, this becomes an ongoing monthly relationship - not a one-off project. What You’ll Work On Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Technical SEO audit and remediation (site structure, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema) On-page optimisation across key landing pages, menus, and location pages Content strategy and briefing aligned with commercial intent (bookings, reservations, covers) Local SEO for multi-site hospitality operators (Google Business Profile, citations, geo-targeted content) Link profile analysis and earned media recommendations Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) Structured data implementation (Restaurant, LocalBusiness, FAQ, HowTo, BreadcrumbList) Featured snippet and People Also Ask optimisation Entity-based content architecture to build topical authority AI Overview / SGE readiness and generative search visibility Brand mentions and citation building across authoritative hospitality and lifestyle sources Reporting & Collaboration Monthly performance reporting with clear, client-ready insights Keyword rankings, organic traffic, and share-of-voice tracking Collaboration with paid media team to align organic and paid strategy Input into new business pitches where SEO/AEO is in scope Who We’re Looking For Skills & Experience 3+ years hands-on SEO delivery experience (AEO or featured snippet optimisation highly desirable) Strong technical SEO capability (crawl analysis, Core Web Vitals, fixing issues independently) Experience in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, bars, food & beverage brands) Strong knowledge of schema and structured data implementation Confident using Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs or Semrush, and Google Business Profile Experience producing clear, client-facing performance reports Character & Approach Sector-aware: understands hospitality dynamics (seasonality, bookings, margins, customer intent) Commercially focused: measures success in business outcomes, not just rankings Proactive: identifies opportunities and issues before clients do Collaborative: works well with paid media and integrated teams Direct: communicates clearly, meets deadlines, works independently Nice to Have (Not Essential) Experience with multi-site restaurant or hospitality groups Familiarity with reservation platforms (SevenRooms, OpenTable, Resy) and SEO implications Exposure to AI Overviews, SGE, or generative search optimisation Interest in helping grow SEO into a core agency service line What This Role Is Not This is not a generic SEO role. We are not looking for templated audits or high-volume content production. Hospitality is a specialist sector with its own language, pressures, and customer psychology - we expect you to understand that instinctively. We are looking for thoughtful, high-quality work that premium brands are proud to stand behind.
