We're looking for a creative strategist to join — a media brand and performance creative studio helping B2B companies reach the freelancer market through Facebook and Instagram ads. What we do We license our audience and brand to select clients and deliver weekly ad creatives that drive real performance. We operate as a whitelisted partner — meaning our clients run ads directly through The Modern Freelancer's pages, lending our brand authority and audience trust to their offers. What you'll do Spend time daily on IG, TikTok, and the Facebook Ad Library hunting for winning concepts and emerging formats Turn inspiration into clear, actionable creative briefs our designer can execute without hand-holding Write direct-response copy for static ads and short videos with text overlay — this is the core of what we produce Save and organize winning ad inspiration to our shared Foreplay board Occasionally write UGC briefs when the creative strategy calls for it, but this is the exception not the norm Review final assets before they go to the client to make sure everything is sharp You're a fit if you Are genuinely obsessed with advertising and notice great ads before anyone tells you they're great Understand whitelisting and why a brand's page authority changes the creative strategy Can write a punchy hook that stops a scroll — on a static image or a 3-second text overlay Understand the freelancer and solopreneur mindset (bonus if you are one) Have some exposure to Meta ads — you don't need to have run campaigns but you need to understand what makes a performance creative work Communicate clearly and hit deadlines without being chased This is not for you if you Need heavy direction to get started every week Think good design alone makes a good ad Have never spent time in the Facebook Ad Library Only have experience with UGC or influencer-style content To apply Send us a screenshot of 3 ads you've seen recently that you think are brilliant and tell us in 2-3 sentences why each one works.
