JustOurBlock is a live neighborhood app where any street can create its own private community (message board, directory, map). Think Nextdoor but scoped to your actual block — 20-50 houses, not a zip code. It's live at with a working product, paying infrastructure, and zero organic users yet. I'm the solo founder. I built the product. Now I need someone to help me find and activate the first 10 real block founders — people who will create a block for their street and get 3-5 neighbors to join. What you'll do: Join 20-30 local Facebook groups (suburban neighborhood/community groups) and post genuine, non-spammy introductions. Not "Check out this app!" — more like "Has anyone tried organizing just their block? I found this thing..." Post in relevant Reddit communities (r/homeowners, r/firsttimehomebuyer, city subs) with authentic stories, not marketing copy Follow up daily with new block creators via text — be their concierge for the first week ("Did anyone join? Need help with your flyer?") Help founders get their first 3 members: coach them on who to invite, generate and mail their QR flyer if needed Track weekly metrics (blocks created, members joined, invites sent) and report every Friday What I'm looking for: You live in the US and understand suburban homeowner culture (HOAs, block parties, "do you know your neighbors?" conversations) You can write like a real person, not a marketer. If your instinct is to write "Revolutionize your neighborhood experience!" — this isn't the right fit You're comfortable cold-texting strangers and following up persistently but warmly You've done community building, grassroots marketing, or early-stage growth before Available ~10 hrs/week for 4 weeks What success looks like: By week 4: 5+ new blocks created by real people (not me), at least 3 of them with 3+ real members, and at least 1 block showing organic activity (neighbors posting without being prompted).
