Job Title: US Surgical Commercial Finance Director Reports To: VP, Group Finance | RECON Location: TBD Job Title/High-Level Position Summary: The US Surgical Commercial Finance Director plays a critical role at the intersection of sales and finance, driving revenue achievement, financial analysis, and operational efficiency to support the sales organization. This role is responsible for managing sales financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, while partnering with sales leadership to optimize sales performance and business growth. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to align sales strategies with financial goals Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline health, revenue trends, and capital deployment Partner closely with sales teams to resolve disputes related to commissions and open POs Act as primary finance contact for agent sales agreements and conversion opportunities Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization within sales Support the implementation and enhancement of sales tools and CRM systems, ensuring financial data accuracy and integrity Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making by sales leadership Lead cross-functional projects impacting sales finance processes and systems Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations Minimum Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of experience in sales operations, sales finance, or financial analysis in a fast-paced sales environment. Previous experience in Orthopedics or MedTech highly preferred. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. Expertise with CRM (e.g., Salesforce), ERP, and financial reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI). Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse teams. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to influence and partner with senior leadership effectively. Familiarity with sales compensation plan design and commission systems. Strong business acumen with an understanding of sales processes and metrics.
